A little movement, a shared laugh, a familiar hand to hold. Photographs of your family with space to simply be together.
A session that follows your family's pace.
For Port Washington families, a portrait session can be a reason to slow down together. Tatiana combines simple composition with the warmth of a vintage photograph, guiding the group without making every moment feel posed. Tell her what this season looks like: a growing family, children who never stop moving, an anniversary, or a visit from grandparents. That is the starting point for a personal session plan.

Considering a waterside setting?
If you have a waterfront location in mind, share the exact place when you inquire. Open spaces may bring wind, strong light and fewer places to sit, so the setting needs to suit your group as well as the photograph. Discuss access, any permit requirements and a weather alternative before committing. A beautiful view is only part of the plan; comfort, safe footing and a manageable walk matter too.
02
A short route, more time together
Choose one main setting instead of trying to fit several locations into the session. For young children, a familiar outdoor space or home garden can offer the freedom to explore without a long journey between photographs. Share nap schedules, mobility needs and the number of people attending. A few practical details help Tatiana plan a pace that leaves room for both a whole-family portrait and smaller, spontaneous moments.
03
Build a collection, not just one pose
Think about what you will enjoy looking back on: siblings together, each child individually, parents as a couple, or grandparents with the newest family member. Make a short priority list rather than a rigid shot-by-shot schedule. The images shown are examples of Tatiana's family portfolio and photographic approach, not a claim that these sessions took place in Port Washington.
Before you head out.
Share the exact location, preferred date range, group size and children's ages. Tatiana will confirm whether the setting and timing work for the session.
Choose comfortable layers and shoes that work for the setting. Keep an easy change for a child and any essentials nearby without bringing a complicated wardrobe.
Family and couples sessions are approximately 1.5-2 hours with 50+ edited images. Confirm the details before booking; finished photographs arrive in your private client gallery.
Nassau County parks have a photography-permit process. If your preferred location is managed by another organization or private owner, check its own rules directly. A suggested outdoor setting is not a confirmed reservation.
Yes, suggest the exact setting in your inquiry. Tatiana will discuss light, access, permissions and suitability with you before the location is confirmed.
Can we keep the session at home?
An at-home session is an option to discuss. Share details about the available indoor light or outdoor space and who will be joining.
What happens if it is too windy or rainy?
Discuss a weather alternative before the shoot. Tatiana will confirm any change with you; an alternate indoor venue is not automatically included.
How do we view our finished photographs?
