Brookville family photography

Your people. Your familiar places. Family portraits with a gentle pace and the character of somewhere that already belongs to you.

The setting is already part of your story.

An at-home family session can preserve more than the way everyone looks. It can include the feeling of a familiar room, a garden where children play, or a place where generations gather. For Brookville clients, Tatiana plans personal family photographs with an emphasis on expression and connection. Her minimal, vintage-influenced style leaves space for the people in the frame rather than requiring an elaborate production.

01

Start with the light and space

Describe the areas you hope to use when you inquire: a bright room, a covered porch, a garden or another familiar spot. The plan depends on usable light, space for your group and the atmosphere you want. You do not need to redecorate the house for a portrait session. A small number of considered settings can give the collection continuity while keeping the day manageable.

02

Keep the practical things close

Home can make it easier to take a break, change a child or have a comfortable place for an older relative to sit. Tell Tatiana about the children's ages, the group's needs and any pets you hope to include. A pet's participation should be discussed in advance, with someone available to help when the animal is not being photographed. The aim is a thoughtful plan that works for the whole household.

03

Make room for the smaller groups

Alongside a whole-family portrait, consider a few combinations that tell more of your story: parents together, each child on their own, siblings, or grandparents with grandchildren. Share your priorities ahead of time and allow some flexibility for the unexpected expressions. The photographs shown are selections from Tatiana's family portfolio, not claims of sessions photographed at a particular Brookville home.

A simple plan for a familiar place.

  • Inquire with your preferred dates, the number of people and a description of the setting. Location suitability and availability are agreed before booking.
  • Choose clothing that feels comfortable and works together without requiring everyone to match. Clear a little space near the chosen backdrop, but keep meaningful details that you would like remembered.
  • Family and couples sessions are approximately 1.5-2 hours with 50+ edited images. Confirm the final scope with Tatiana; the edited collection is delivered privately online.

Brookville is a service area, not a separate TMZ Photography studio address. If you prefer a public outdoor location instead of home, permission and access need to be checked with the organization managing that setting.

Before your session

A few things to know.

Does our home have to look a certain way?

No particular interior style is required. Discuss the space and available light with Tatiana so a practical setting can be chosen together.

Can we include our family pet?

Mention the pet in your inquiry and discuss whether participation will suit the session. Have a helper available to care for the pet between photographs.

What if an indoor setting does not work?

The location plan is discussed before booking. An outdoor area or a different agreed setting may be considered depending on light, access and your family's needs.

Can we add professional portraits to the family session?

Describe that request in advance. Professional images may need different lighting, framing and time, so Tatiana should confirm the scope before the shoot.
