Everyone you love, together. A little direction, room to move, and photographs that feel like your family.
The whole family, and the small moments.
Family photographs do not have to depend on everyone holding the same smile. Tatiana's portfolio includes a child clapping in front of a gathered family, siblings laughing together and a mother holding her children close. TMZ Photography brings that attention to expression to Nassau County family and couples sessions, balancing a few thoughtfully arranged portraits with room for the moments around them.

01
Choose the group before the backdrop
Begin with who will be there. A session with toddlers needs a different pace from a couples portrait or a gathering of several generations. Share the children's ages, the number of adults and any accessibility needs. Make a short list of essential group combinations, such as everyone together, grandparents with grandchildren and each household on its own. A clear set of priorities helps keep the session relaxed.
02
Let the location support the experience
A familiar home can keep snacks, changes of clothing and a comfortable seat nearby. An outdoor setting can give children room to move and provide seasonal color. For Nassau families, the most useful location is the one that works for your people, the light and the time available, not necessarily the busiest or most elaborate place. Discuss shade, walking distances, parking and photography permission before committing to a setting.
03
Photographs for two, or for generations
Couples sessions can mark an anniversary or simply a season together. Extended-family photographs can preserve the relationships between generations. Both benefit from clothing that feels comfortable and works together without requiring everyone to match. If the photographs are intended for a holiday card, tell Tatiana about the layout and deadline so the framing and delivery plan can be discussed early.
A little preparation, more room to be yourselves.
Select Family & Couples in the inquiry form. Include your town, preferred dates, total group size and the children's ages, along with the setting you have in mind.
Family and couples sessions are approximately 1.5-2 hours with 50+ edited images. Confirm the final timing and scope before booking, especially for larger groups.
The edited collection is delivered through a private client gallery. Mention print or card plans before the session so there is room for the compositions you need.
Explore the local guides for Garden City, Port Washington, Sands Point and Brookville for more planning ideas. These are service areas; venue permission and session availability are confirmed separately.
Before your session
A few things to know.
Can we include grandparents in our family shoot?
Yes. Share the full group size, preferred combinations and any mobility considerations so Tatiana can plan the session with you.
What if our children do not sit still?
Discuss their ages and what helps them feel comfortable. Movement and natural interactions can be part of the photographs; the plan does not need to depend on every child holding a formal pose.
Do you offer couples-only sessions?
Yes. The family and couples offering also works for two people. Explain the occasion, preferred setting and the feeling you would like in your photographs.
How do we choose between family and holiday photographs?
A family session is about the people and relationships. A holiday-focused inquiry adds a particular season, card layout or delivery deadline. Mention those needs so Tatiana can confirm an appropriate plan.
